From November 2 to November 5 2020, the 21 INTERLACE partners including cities and city networks, research and civil society organisations as well as communication experts came together to kick-off the INTERLACE project. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the meeting took place virtually, using a broad range of interactive formats and tools. Project partners actively discussed topics such as ensuring effective project communication across cultures and continents or the inclusion of marginalized groups in the project.
Over the last two days, during the City Forum, the city partners presented themselves and the challenges related to urban restoration they are facing. In subsequent discussions, the city representatives already identified common challenges and work areas, which provides fertile ground for successful city collaboration throughout the project.
The next annual meeting will take place in autumn 2021.
